Will be responsible for completing assessments of children and their families where safeguarding concerns have been shared. The office base is in Grantham, there is free parking on site. We cover the whole of South Kesteven District, which encompasses both Grantham and a large rural area.

The team operate on a four weekly duty system with one week being on duty and allocated new cases and two being off duty. On duty weeks there is an expectation workers are office based five days of that week and need to be available to pick up new cases and carry out initial visits. Experience and training in completing section 47 investigations is required for the role.

Minimum 3 years post qualifying experience in a permanent, front line safeguarding role is essential.
