Senior Project Manager - Life Sciences

Are you an experienced Senior Project Manager looking to make a significant impact in the Life Sciences sector? Our client, a leading organisation in the Medical Device and Pharma industry, is seeking a dynamic and skilled individual to join their team on a temporary basis. This exciting opportunity offers a competitive hourly rate of 40.00 and the potential for an extended contract.

Position: Senior Project Manager
Location: Remote
Contract Length: 10 months (with possibility of extension up to 24 months)
Hours: Full Time (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday)
Desired Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the project management team to achieve goals set by Group leadership.
Manage complex projects across divisions, developing tasks, deliverables, and resource requirements.
Create and maintain documentation, ensuring quality and organisation.
Oversee project budgets, collaborating with finance and cross-functional departments.
Identify and communicate project risks, tracking status and contingencies.
Facilitate meetings and ensure alignment with internal and external stakeholders.
Contribute to strategic development and process improvement initiatives.

Who is the Ideal Candidate?
Our client is looking for a candidate who possesses:

A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
A minimum of 9 years of industry experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Previous experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Strong business acumen and the ability to manage business transformations.
Exceptional organisational skills with a knack for multitasking.
Proven ability to direct cross-functional teams and influence business partners.

Desired Qualifications:

An advanced degree in the sciences or an M.B.A. is advantageous.
PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a plus but not mandatory.
Knowledge of quality standards and regulatory compliance in medical devices is beneficial.
Experience in the IVD industry and M&A/divestiture processes is highly valued.
