Clinical Team Manager
Location: Hitchin, Hertfordshire
Salary: 49,387 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
About the Role
Brainkind is looking for an experienced Clinical Team Manager to join our specialist neurological care centre, Stagenhoe, in Hertfordshire.
You will lead a team of Registered Nurses and Healthcare Assistants, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care for adults with brain injuries and neurological conditions. You will support clinical excellence, staff development, service improvement and the smooth day-to-day running of the service.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of nurses and care staff.
- Ensure high standards of assessment, care planning and clinical delivery.
- Manage staffing levels and duty rotas to maintain safe care.
- Support and supervise clinical staff, including performance management and development.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and external healthcare professionals.
- Promote safeguarding, clinical governance and best practice.
- Participate in audits, quality improvement initiatives and service development.
- Manage risk and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
About You
- Registered Nurse with post-registration clinical experience.
- Proven experience managing and leading clinical teams.
- Strong understanding of clinical governance and healthcare legislation.
- Experience supporting change and service improvement.
- Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
- Ability to mentor, coach and develop others.
- Competent IT skills.
