  • Encourage clients to maintain their independence and remain safely in their own homes.

Essential Requirements for HCA s / Support Workers

  • Health Care Assistants and Support Workers must have a minimum of 3 months' paid experience working in a care home, nursing home, supported living service, hospital, or other healthcare setting.
  • Previous domiciliary care experience is desirable for Domiciliary Care Assistants but not essential if you have relevant care experience in the UK.
  • A caring, compassionate, and professional approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays where required.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

Additional Requirement for Domiciliary Care Roles

A full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle is preferred (or willingness to travel between clients using suitable transport where applicable).

Desirable Qualifications

  • Moving & Handling Training.
  • Medication Administration Training.
  • First Aid and Basic Life Support.
  • Experience supporting older people, individuals living with dementia, learning disabilities, physical disabilities, or mental health needs.
