The houses care for children and young people who have been diagnosed with EBD (Emotional Behavioural Difficulties) and SEMH (Social Emotional Mental Health), or complex trauma needs.

We are looking for a Residential Support Workers to work on a full and part time basis with varying day and night shifts available. Our residential provider adopts an ethos that is child focused, while understanding that children will thrive when they feel safe and secure. A focus on providing consistency and continuity, ensuring at all times that children s wishes are heard and respected.

The successful Residential Support Worker will have:

• Experience of working in residential/care settings
• Child & Adult DBS or willingness to apply

• Registered with Social Care Wales or willingness to apply

• Experience supporting young people with challenging behaviours or trauma

• Desirable driving licence

• Flexibility with shifts

We're looking for a passionate and dedicated Residential Support Worker to join our clients brand-new Emotional Wellbeing Assessment Home in Hinckley, Leicestershire. This is a full-time, permanent position with a guarentee of 160 hour per month. You must also be able to commit to one sleep in shift per week.

About the Role

As a Residential Support Worker, you'll be an essential part of a small, supportive team. This new home provides short-term placements for up to three children and young people (ages 8-18) to help understand their needs. Your main goal will be to build trusting, nurturing relationships that promote their independence, confidence, and emotional skills.

In this role, you will:

• Develop nurturing relationships with young people, focusing on their well-being and strengths.
• Work closely with families and other professionals to provide a holistic support system.
• Contribute to the daily running of the home, including cooking and cleaning, to create a safe and welcoming environment.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and ensure all safeguarding policies are followed.
• Be a positive and reliable presence, promoting a safe and secure space at all times.

While Hinckley will be your main base, you'll need to be flexible to cover shifts at other local homes in Coalville, Mountsorrel, Braunstone, and Syston as needed.
