Deputy Manager Children's Residential Home
G&S Path to Progression is an Ofsted-regulated provider of children's residential homes and supported accommodation for young people aged 5 17. We are looking for an experienced Deputy Manager to support the Registered Manager in delivering high-quality, child-centred care.
Key Responsibilities
Support the day-to-day running of the home.
Lead, supervise and develop the staff team.
Promote safeguarding and ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations, Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards.
Oversee care plans, risk assessments and records.
Build positive relationships with children, families and professionals.
Participate in the on-call rota and deputise for the Registered Manager when required.
Essential Requirements
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or willingness to complete).
Minimum 3 years' experience in a children's residential setting.
Experience supervising staff.
Good knowledge of safeguarding and Children's Homes Regulations 2015.
Enhanced DBS and the right to work in the UK.
Desirable
Full UK Driving Licence.
Previous Deputy Manager experience.
Experience with Ofsted inspections and therapeutic care approaches.
