Do you have the confidence and resilience to work with pupils who present challenging behaviour in a primary setting?

A well-established Primary SEMH specialist school in Blackburn is seeking a committed Behaviour Support Assistant to work closely with pupils requiring additional emotional and behavioural support. This is a demanding yet highly rewarding role, ideal for individuals with strong resilience, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a difference.

Building strong, trusting relationships is key, as you will act as a reliable and positive role model for pupils who need stability, guidance, and encouragement.

You will be supporting pupils with needs including SEMH, ADHD, Autism, and trauma-related behaviours, helping them overcome barriers and build confidence both in and out of the classroom.
