Key Responsibilities
As a Registered Home Manager based in Bargoed, your daily duties will include:
Leading, coaching, and developing a staff team to deliver high-quality, person-centred support for adults with learning disabilities
Ensuring robust safeguarding practice, effective governance, and strong regulatory compliance in line with CIW standards and relevant legislation
Supporting day-to-day operations in your role as a Registered Home Manager to ensure high standards of care, safeguarding, and compliance
Overseeing care planning, risk assessments, audits, and quality assurance activity to drive continuous improvement and positive outcomes
Managing recruitment, supervision, appraisals, performance management, rotas, and on-call responsibilities to maintain safe staffing and service delivery
Requirements & Qualifications
To be successful as a Registered Home Manager, you will need:
Proven management experience within a learning disability residential setting
Proven experience working as a Registered Home Manager or in a similar residential care setting with leadership responsibilities
Strong practical knowledge of safeguarding, medication management, quality standards, and regulatory compliance (including CIW expectations)
Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to complete) and proof of the right to work in the UK
