Occupational Health Advisor Northamptonshire (Full Time or Part Time Options)

The Role
As an Occupational Health Advisor, you will be key to maintaining and promoting health standards across the organisation. Your responsibilities include:
- Delivering high-quality health surveillance and pre-employment medicals
- Handling management referrals and occupational health case management consultations (face-to-face and remotely)
- Providing advice on fitness for work, workplace adjustments, rehabilitation, and return-to-work planning
- Liaising with line managers, HR, and stakeholders to deliver specialist occupational health expertise
- Maintaining confidential medical records in alignment with GDPR and professional standards
Skills and Experience
- Occupational Health qualification (Degree or Diploma) or a minimum of 5 years experience in Occupational Health settings
- Proven experience overseeing health surveillance and fitness-for-work assessments
- Strong communication, organisational, and IT skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Working Pattern & Location
- You must work at least 50% of your hours on site, with the remainder remotely
- Your office days will be Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (to complement other part-time staff).
