About the Role
Our customer has a great sense of humour and enjoys building rapport with her support team, so it's important you can have a laugh together. She is very social and enjoys activities such as visiting farms, going for walks, attending clubs, and spending time with her friendship circle. Communication is key, she uses unique signs and understanding this is essential for building trust.
She is largely independent with personal care but requires the support of two staff members during these times. She enjoys being pampered and loves all things girly and sparkly. Some prompting or direct support may be required.
The team prepares meals for safety reasons, though she enjoys being involved in meal preparation. Maintaining her home environment is also an important part of the role.
While this is an established team, her needs are evolving. Therefore, we are looking for adaptable individuals who can respond to change. Due to the specialist nature of this role, successful candidates must be willing to work in other areas of the business around Swindon if required.
