The Role As Registered Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the safe, compliant and effective day-to-day operation of the nursing home. You will lead from the front, ensuring excellent clinical governance, outstanding resident outcomes and a positive culture for colleagues and families.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the daily operations of the nursing home
- Ensuring compliance with CQC requirements, healthcare regulations and internal quality standards
- Leading, supporting and developing clinical teams and other healthcare professionals
- Overseeing the development and delivery of effective, personalised care plans
- Managing budgets, staffing levels and resources efficiently
- Promoting a positive, inclusive and resident-focused environment
- Building strong relationships with residents, families and external healthcare agencies
- Driving continuous improvement across clinical care, compliance and service delivery

About You To be successful in this Clinical Registered Manager role, you will:
- Be a qualified nurse with an active NMC PIN
- Hold a Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management for Health and Social Care, or equivalent
- Have previous experience in a management role within a nursing home
- Demonstrate strong clinical leadership, organisational and operational management skills
- Have a sound understanding of nursing home compliance, clinical governance and CQC requirements
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate care
