Are you an Individual who has a strong desire to help support children and young people to achieve their full potential? We, Academics, are currently seeking 7 caring and motivated SEMH Support workers to work from September for a specialised education program primarily based in Worcester.
This particular position includes supporting children and young people between the ages of 6 to 25, especially those aged between 10 to 12, who are currently not attending school but require some aid in re-engaging with learning in the classroom. The students that are needing support may be looked-after children, display difficult behaviours, have SEN OR SEMH needs.
The Role:
Hours: 9:30am- 2:30pm, with some 1:00pm- 5:00pm shifts
Pay: 15- 16 per hour (depending on experience)
Job Type: Temp with potential to become permanent for the right candidates
Location: Worcester
Travel: A full UK driving Licence and access to a car is essential, Mileage expenses are paid for journeys over 20 miles.
What we are searching for:
We are primarily looking for individuals who model patience, compassion and a nurturing personality. Qualifications and direct experience are not necessary for this specific role, but is an advantage. It would prove highly beneficial to posses prior experience working wit children or young people, especially in Early Years, SEND, or SEMH.
