Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strong leadership and management of the residential service
  • Ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, and child-centred care
  • Maintain compliance with Ofsted regulations and organisational standards
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing staff team
  • Promote positive outcomes for children and young people
  • Drive continuous improvement across quality, performance, and care delivery

  • Ensure safeguarding remains at the forefront of all practice

About You

We are seeking an experienced and motivated leader who is passionate about making a difference in children's lives.

The ideal candidate will be:

  • An experienced Registered Manager within Children's Residential Care
  • A strong and visible leader with a child-focused approach
  • Passionate about delivering outstanding outcomes for children and young people
  • Experienced in leading and developing successful care teams
  • Knowledgeable around safeguarding, legislation, and regulatory requirements
  • Committed to continuous improvement and service development
  • Ambitious and motivated to progress within a growing organisation
  • Resilient, proactive, and solutions-focused
Experience & Knowledge Essential
  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager within Children's Residential Care
  • Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and quality standards
  • Proven leadership and people management skills
  • Experience driving positive outcomes for children and young people
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child-centred practices
  • Experience developing teams and improving service performance
Desirable
  • Experience supporting service growth and development
  • Track record of successful inspections and quality improvements
  • Experience working within growing or multi-service children's care organisations
