Key Responsibilities
- Provide strong leadership and management of the residential service
- Ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, and child-centred care
- Maintain compliance with Ofsted regulations and organisational standards
- Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing staff team
- Promote positive outcomes for children and young people
- Drive continuous improvement across quality, performance, and care delivery
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, local authorities, families, and professionals
- Support the growth and development of the service
- Ensure safeguarding remains at the forefront of all practice
- Foster a positive culture where both children and colleagues can succeed
About You
We are seeking an experienced and motivated leader who is passionate about making a difference in children's lives.
The ideal candidate will be:
- An experienced Registered Manager within Children's Residential Care
- A strong and visible leader with a child-focused approach
- Passionate about delivering outstanding outcomes for children and young people
- Experienced in leading and developing successful care teams
- Knowledgeable around safeguarding, legislation, and regulatory requirements
- Committed to continuous improvement and service development
- Ambitious and motivated to progress within a growing organisation
- Resilient, proactive, and solutions-focused
Experience & Knowledge Essential
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager within Children's Residential Care
- Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and quality standards
- Proven leadership and people management skills
- Experience driving positive outcomes for children and young people
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child-centred practices
- Experience developing teams and improving service performance
Desirable
- Experience supporting service growth and development
- Track record of successful inspections and quality improvements
- Experience working within growing or multi-service children's care organisations
