Registered General Nurse

Role Overview:
We are seeking compassionate, reliable and professional Registered General Nurses (RGNs) to provide high-quality, person-centred nursing care to patients across hospitals, care homes and community settings. The successful candidate will assess patient needs, deliver clinical care, administer medication and work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive safe and effective treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
  • Administer medication safely and accurately.
  • Monitor patients' health and recognise changes in condition.
  • Carry out clinical observations and maintain accurate patient records.
  • Assist with personal care and activities of daily living where required.
  • Undertake wound care, dressings and other clinical procedures.
  • Support patients with mobility and moving and handling.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, relatives and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Follow infection prevention and control procedures.
  • Safely use clinical equipment and follow relevant policies and procedures.
  • Respond appropriately to emergencies and escalate concerns when required.
  • Promote patients' dignity, independence, privacy and wellbeing.
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with professional and organisational standards.

Requirements:

  • Current NMC registration as a Registered General Nurse.
  • Relevant nursing qualification.
  • Previous nursing experience desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to providing safe, compassionate and person-centred care.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Satisfactory DBS/Access NI check, where applicable.
  • Evidence of relevant training and mandatory competencies.
