Lessingham Road supports individuals with physical health needs, including epilepsy, Parkinson s and dysphagia.

Dalwood Close supports individuals with learning disabilities, mental health needs and behaviours that may challenge.

Starling Close provides similar support, with a strong focus on one-to-one care, clear documentation and medication administration.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting individuals with daily living activities
  • Promoting independence, choice and dignity
  • Building trusting and positive relationships
  • Supporting people to access the community
  • Helping individuals manage their health and wellbeing
  • Supporting with medication in line with training and procedures

  • Following safeguarding, health and safety and support plans
  • Working closely with colleagues, families and other professionals
  • Providing consistent support during day or waking night shifts

About you

We are looking for kind, reliable and resilient people who genuinely want to support others.

For roles at Starling Close and Dalwood Close, at least six months experience in care or support would be preferred because of the complex needs and behaviours involved.

For Lessingham Road, at least six months experience in care or support ideally in supporting physical health needs.

A Care Certificate would be an advantage, but it is not essential because this can be completed as part of your training.

You should also have:

  • A caring and respectful approach
  • Good communication skills
  • The ability to remain calm in challenging situations
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic
  • The confidence to work independently and as part of a team

Why join Transforming Support?

You will be joining an organisation with a strong culture, supportive management and accessible leadership.

The focus is not simply on completing tasks. Staff are encouraged to build meaningful relationships, support independence and help people become more involved in their communities.

You will also receive ongoing training and opportunities to develop your skills and progress your career.

Recruitment process

The recruitment process will include:

  • An initial screening interview
  • A Teams interview
  • A possible face-to-face meeting or site visit
