We are looking for a Partnerships Development Manager with a strong understanding of the cardiovascular clinical environment and medical device industry.
Hybrid working - 2 days in the office and 3 days at home.- Location, Bourne End, Buckinghamshire
This is not necessarily a traditional medical education grant-writing role. While experience in grant development and independent medical education would be valuable, our priority is finding someone with genuine cardiovascular clinical and industry expertise.
We can provide training and support around grant development, educational needs assessments, learning objectives and the wider medical education process. What we need from day one is someone who understands the technologies, clinical evidence, treatment pathways and physicians within the cardiovascular space.
Your Background
Ideally, you will have several years' experience within the cardiovascular medical device industry, in a role such as:
We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas:
Experience delivering formal product and clinical training would be particularly valuable.
What You'll Do
As Partnerships Development Manager, you will work at the intersection of cardiovascular science, clinical education and industry partnerships.
You will build relationships with leading cardiologists and electrophysiologists, developing a deep understanding of their clinical priorities and the educational gaps facing the cardiovascular community.
Your role will include:
You will also have the opportunity to develop your knowledge of medical education, educational needs assessments, learning objectives and grant development, with training and support provided where required.
What We're Looking For
Above all, we are looking for someone who is:
Experience of medical education grants or grant writing is not essential. The ability to learn the medical education process is important; what cannot easily be taught is an established understanding of the cardiovascular clinical and device landscape.
International Exposure
This is an internationally focused role, with regular engagement with physicians, faculty and industry stakeholders across multiple markets.
You should be comfortable with international travel, including attendance at approximately 3-5 major cardiovascular congresses each year. These events will provide opportunities to build relationships, understand emerging clinical trends and technologies, and identify new educational and partnership opportunities.
