Location: Margate, Kent
Salary: £25,845 per annum (pro rata)
Hours: Full-time opportunities available

You'll need to be flexible to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, evenings and sleep-ins across a seven-day rota.

About the role

As a Support Worker, you'll support adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, complex needs and mobility needs to live fulfilling, independent lives. Some of the people we support use wheelchairs.

Our services are located close to Margate town centre with good public transport links. A full UK driving licence is desirable to help the people we support access activities, appointments and their local community.

What you'll be doing

Every day is different, but you could be:

  • Supporting people with everyday living and helping them achieve their personal goals.
  • Encouraging people to access their local community, hobbies, education and leisure activities.
  • Helping people maintain relationships with family and friends.
  • Supporting individuals to manage their finances and make informed choices.
  • Assisting with shopping, cooking and maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming home.
  • Providing personal care with dignity, respect and compassion.
  • Promoting independence, choice and inclusion in everything you do.
What we're looking for

We're looking for caring, reliable and positive people who enjoy helping others.

You don't need previous experience in social care we'll provide all the training you need. Experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, healthcare, education, childcare or volunteering can provide valuable transferable skills.
