About Us

We are a well-established organisation specialising in supporting children and adults with catastrophic and complex brain injuries. Our approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each individual, working alongside a highly skilled multidisciplinary team.

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to support a 23-year-old man with a complex brain injury, autism and ADHD

You will play a vital role in enabling the client to reach their full potential by supporting their:

  • Health and wellbeing

  • Social and emotional development

  • Cultural and spiritual needs

  • Physical independence

This role involves working within the client s home and in the wider community, encouraging confidence, independence, and meaningful social engagement.

Success in this role comes from your ability to:

  • Understand and respond to the client s unique needs

  • Build a strong, trusting relationship

  • Take a positive, enabling, and patient-centred approach

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

Requirements

  • Understanding of positive behaviour support approaches (desirable)

  • A confident driver with a full UK driving licence

  • Ability to maintain clear and accurate written records in fluent English

Experience working with individuals with brain injuries, ADHD and autism is desirable, but not essential. Full training will be provided, along with ongoing supervision and support.

Additional Information

  • An enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
