Learning Disabilities Mental Health Hybrid Working Community-Based Care Clinical Leadership Lead clinical excellence across specialist learning disability services while enjoying genuine autonomy, hybrid working and the opportunity to influence care across multiple regions as a Learning Disabilities Clinical Lead.

We're recruiting for an experienced RNLD to join an Outstanding CQC-rated specialist complex care provider supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs across Dorset, Kent, Milton Keynes, Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire. This is a hybrid role, typically 3 to 4 days in the community and 1 to 2 days working from home each week, offering genuine clinical autonomy and excellent opportunities for career progression as a Learning Disabilities Clinical Lead.

Package & Benefits
  • Salary of 44,000 to 47,000 per annum.
  • Hybrid working, 3 to 4 days in the community and 1 to 2 days working from home each week.

About the Company You'll be joining an Outstanding CQC-rated specialist complex care provider recognised for exceptional standards of care, strong clinical governance and investment in its people. As a Learning Disabilities Clinical Lead, you'll have the autonomy, support and resources to deliver outstanding clinical outcomes while helping shape and continuously improve services across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of complex community care packages, ensuring safe, effective and person-centred clinical delivery.
  • Complete comprehensive clinical assessments, care plans, risk assessments and regular clinical reviews.
  • Deliver clinical supervision, competency assessments and practical training for Registered Nurses and Support Workers.
  • Support the mobilisation of new care packages and oversee clinical quality throughout each package's journey.
  • Lead safeguarding investigations, clinical audits, incident reviews and root cause analysis, implementing lessons learned to improve outcomes.
  • Support CQC compliance, quality assurance initiatives and continuous service improvement.
  • Develop and review clinical policies, procedures and best practice guidance.
  • Work collaboratively with families, commissioners, Integrated Care Boards (ICBs), Local Authorities and multidisciplinary professionals.
  • Promote best practice in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), Mental Capacity Act (MCA), Best Interest decision making, trauma-informed care and person-centred approaches.
About You
  • Registered Learning Disabilities Nurse (RNLD) with an active NMC registration.
  • Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs within community, supported living or complex care services.
  • Strong knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), Mental Capacity Act (MCA), safeguarding, clinical governance and CQC standards.
  • Experience completing clinical assessments, care planning, risk assessments, competency assessments and clinical supervision.
  • Confident leading multidisciplinary teams, mentoring frontline staff and making autonomous clinical decisions.
  • Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Full UK driving licence, access to your own vehicle and willingness to travel throughout your designated region.
