Shifts: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday: 20:30 - 06:30; Thursday: 19:30 - 06:30

About the role

Newcross Healthcare is recruiting a Community Care Assistant in Liskeard to support people in their own homes.

Are you an experienced Community Care Assistant looking for care work that fits around your life? Join Newcross Healthcare and support people to live safely and independently in their own homes. Due to a genuine occupational requirement, applicants should be female only. If you do not meet this requirement, please review our other vacancies. Due to the location of our client's home, you should have a full UK driving licence and have reliable access to a vehicle as public transport is unlikely to be suitable.

Your responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and daily living support.
  • Support children with their care needs.
  • Support safe community access and promote independence.
  • Ensure safety and follow detailed care plans accurately.
What you need
  • At least six months of paid UK care experience.
  • Previous experience supporting children or young people.
  • Confidence supporting individuals with limited mobility.
  • A valid driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • The right to work in the UK.
  • Good spoken and written English.
