• We re recruiting for a qualified Health and Social Care Assessor to support apprenticeship learners across workplace settings.
• This role focuses specifically on only carrying out workplace observations and contributing to learner progress, working alongside Personal Development Managers who lead the wider apprenticeship journey.
• You will work with learners across Manchester and surrounding areas, with travel planned to maximise efficiency.
• You will typically complete 10 observations per week, alongside planning, reporting, and remote admin work.
• This role is sometimes referred to as Apprenticeship Assessor, Health and Social Care Tutor or Skills Coach within Health and Social Care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct workplace observations in care settings
• Assess learners against apprenticeship standards
• Provide structured feedback and support progression
• Manage a caseload of learners across your region
• Ensure compliance with Ofsted and awarding body requirements
• Support learners through mock assessments and reviews
