Responsibilities of the Leasehold Officer:

  • Investigate and process tenancy management requests including transfers, mutual exchanges and succession cases in line with legislation and policy.
  • Investigate breaches of tenancy conditions and take appropriate action, including legal action where necessary.
  • Manage cases involving anti-social behaviour, neighbour nuisance and tenancy-related disputes, working in partnership with agencies such as the police and social services.
  • Prepare case files, witness statements and evidence bundles to support enforcement and court action where required.
  • Promote tenant participation, engagement and equality of opportunity across the service.
  • Work with residents and partner agencies to develop and maintain community agreements.
  • Undertake estate inspections and health and safety checks, ensuring housing stock and communal areas are managed effectively and issues are addressed promptly.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

  • A minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a customer-focused environment.

You must provide three days per week that you are available to be on call as well as two weekends in a month. You will then be allocated to 1 day per week and 1 weekend in a month to be on standby. The weekly standby you will do will run from 6pm-6pm and the weekend standby you cover will be Friday 6pm Monday 6pm. On the days you are on standby, you may not have any call outs or prebooked visits. On these occasions you would be paid a standby rate of £22 for the full day, you could be called out anytime including late at night. You will work for your team s region, but you must be prepared to travel up to 50 miles.

The Governance Officer will develop, implement, and maintain compliance, governance, and quality assurance systems that position The Private Doctors to achieve CQC Outstanding status. This is a strategic, behind-the-scenes role focused on building excellence into policies and processes. You will own CQC compliance, complaints handling, health and safety, staff recruitment and onboarding, audit processes and governance with a clear aim to exceed baseline standards. This is not a front-of-house role.

This role would suit a CQC Registered Manager from within a GP practice. The objective of the role is to ensure that the practice alleviates risk and attains CQC outstanding status.   • Strong written communication skills (policy writing, professional correspondence)
  • Experience in health and safety in healthcare environments
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Organised and detail-oriented approach to record management and systems
  • Problem-solving mindset can identify gaps and implement practical solutions
  • Level 3+ qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent
  • Experience in private practice compliance
  • Complaints investigation training or mediation experience
  • Experience with practice management systems or GDPR compliance
  • Knowledge of specialist healthcare areas (general practice, aesthetics, mental health)
