Our client is seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Residential Manager to lead a well-established Children's Residential Home. As Registered Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care and safeguarding are maintained at all times. You will lead and support an established team, promote a positive culture, and ensure the home continues to provide a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment for children and young people.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide effective leadership and management of the residential service.
- Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations, Children's Homes Regulations, and Quality Standards.
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people.
- Lead, develop, and motivate an established staff team.
- Monitor and improve service quality and outcomes for young people.
- Manage staffing, budgets, and resources effectively.
- Build positive relationships with external professionals, families, and stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement and maintain high standards across the service.
Requirements
- Experience as a Registered Manager, Deputy Manager, or Senior Manager within a children's residential setting.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards with relevant experience).
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and children's residential care legislation.
- Proven leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and decision-making abilities.
- A commitment to achieving positive outcomes for children and young people.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
