Freelance GP Recruiter - Australia & Canada (Remote)

Commission Only - Uncapped Earning

About Us

Top Tier Talentees is a specialist recruitment agency based in the UK, operating across health and social care, children's services, and international healthcare markets.

We are rapidly expanding our international desk and are now looking for a driven, experienced Freelance GP Recruiter to join our growing team and take ownership of our Australia and Canada markets.

The Opportunity

This is a fully remote, commission-only freelance role with uncapped earning potential.

We are looking for someone who already understands the international GP recruitment landscape. Whether you are based in the UK, Australia, Canada, or anywhere else in the world, we want to hear from you.

You will work independently, managing your own pipeline and candidate relationships, with the full backing of an established agency behind you, including access to job boards, CRM tools, and a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source, engage, and place qualified GPs into roles across Australia and Canada.
  • Manage the full 360 recruitment cycle, from candidate attraction and screening through to offer and placement.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of GP candidates actively seeking international opportunities.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with healthcare clients and hiring organisations within your markets.
  • Ensure candidates meet relevant licensing, compliance, and registration requirements for their target country.
  • Work towards agreed placement targets and provide regular activity updates to the Top Tier Talentees international team.

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven experience recruiting GPs or medical doctors, ideally within the Australian or Canadian market.
  • A track record of successful placements in international or cross-border healthcare recruitment.
  • Strong existing candidate networks or a demonstrable ability to build one quickly.
  • In-depth understanding of GP licensing bodies and registration processes, including:
    • AHPRA (Australia)
    • CPSO and other Provincial Colleges (Canada)
  • Self-motivated, highly organised, and comfortable working autonomously in a results-driven environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Previous experience working freelance or on a commission-only basis is advantageous.

What You Will Get

  • Competitive commission structure with uncapped earning potential.
  • Complete flexibility to work your own hours from anywhere in the world.
  • Support from an established UK agency with a growing international presence.
  • Access to leading job boards, recruitment systems, and tools.
  • A collaborative and ambitious team that wants you to succeed.
  • Genuine opportunity to grow with the business as our international division expands.

Who Should Apply?

This role is best suited to an experienced healthcare recruiter who is ready to work independently and hit the ground running.

If you are early in your recruitment career or have no experience placing doctors within international markets, this role is unlikely to be the right fit at this stage.

We welcome applications from recruiters based in the UK, Australia, Canada, South Africa, India, the Philippines, or anywhere else with access to strong GP candidate networks.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, and shortlisted candidates will be contacted within 5 working days.
