The Role

As a SEND Learning Support Worker, you will provide tailored support to students with a range of complex additional needs. No two days will be the same support requirements and working days may vary depending on the individual student you are supporting.

This role requires someone who is:

  • Confident supporting students with high levels of need
  • Comfortable with personal care responsibilities where required

You will be expected to build positive relationships with students, promote independence and provide support both inside and outside of the classroom.

What We re Looking For

We welcome applications from candidates who have:

  • Experience working within an SEN/SEND school environment
  • Experience in a care or support setting
  • A genuine passion for supporting individuals with additional needs
  • A strong work ethic and a flexible, can-do attitude

Experience using British Sign Language (BSL) or Makaton would be highly advantageous, although not essential.

Salary

  • Working hours are expected to range between hours per week, depending on student needs and timetable requirements
  • Equivalent to approximately £24,025 £32,341 per annum (full-year equivalent)
