Position: Youth Support Worker
Location: Hemel Hempstead
Salary: 25,857 per annum
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
Are you passionate about empowering young people to build brighter futures? Join our dedicated team at Hemel YPHS, providing supported accommodation for 16-24-year-olds, including young parents and those moving towards independence.
You will be part of a compassionate, values-driven team that works collaboratively with social workers, local authorities, and other professionals to create a safe, inclusive environment where every young person feels respected and supported. Your role will involve:
Shifts
This is a 24-hour rota role, where staff remain on site throughout the entire shift, including an overnight sleep-in period. Shifts include evenings, overnight cover, weekends, and early mornings, with sleep-ins paid at 52.78 per night.
About You
You will be empathetic, resilient, and committed to making a difference. A full UK driving licence with business insurance and access to a vehicle is essential, as you may need to transport young people.
