Science Technician - Secondary Schools (Newport) Start Date: September Pay: 16.11 to 20.00 per hour Are you organised, practical, and interested in supporting science education? We are currently working with a number of secondary schools across Newport who are expected to have Science Technician opportunities from September. The Role As a Science Technician, you may be responsible for:
Preparing and setting up equipment and materials for practical science lessons (Biology, Chemistry and Physics) Solution preparation and chemical handling Supporting teachers with lesson preparation and demonstrations Maintaining and organising laboratory equipment and resources Ensuring all practical work is carried out safely and in line with regulations Managing stock levels and ordering supplies where required Keeping labs clean, safe and ready for use
