The RoleAs a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding care and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the home. You will provide leadership and guidance to the care team while ensuring residents receive compassionate, person-centred support at all times.
Your responsibilities will include:• Leading, mentoring, and supporting care staff during shifts• Delivering exceptional, person-centred care to residents• Supporting residents with daily routines and individual needs• Administering medication (training provided if required)• Maintaining accurate care plans and documentation• Promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing at all times• Creating a safe, positive, and supportive environment for residents
About You• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (desirable)• Minimum 3 years' experience in a senior care role within a care home setting• A calm, compassionate, and proactive approach• Strong leadership and communication skills• Medication training (desirable but not essential)• A genuine passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care
