Our clients Healthcare team is a specialist department advising on all aspects of healthcare law, including clinical negligence, patient safety, mental health and human rights. The firm acts on behalf of NHS Litigation Authority and NHS Trusts in a fast-paced and evolving sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage litigated and pre-litigated clinical negligence claims
  • Act on behalf of NHS Resolution and NHS Trusts
  • Conduct investigations and liaise with clients, counsel, experts and claimants
  • Draft pleadings and reports
  • Meet financial and chargeable hour targets
  • Ensure compliance with client SLAs and regulatory requirements
  • Contribute to business development initiatives

About You

  • Qualified Solicitor (or equivalent) with 3+ years' PQE
  • Experience defending high-value, complex clinical negligence claims
  • Strong technical knowledge, including CPR
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage deadlines and work both independently and as part of a team
