We are recruiting Children's Residential Support Workers to work in our growing home within Kingsthorpe, Northampton! Working on a rota basis, establishing relationships which young people perceive to be positive, warm and rewarding. Providing advice, assistance and support to enable young people to address past and present difficulties.
The working day can be very unpredictable and you could find yourself spending the entire morning organising activities and the afternoon providing 1:1 support. No two days are the same. The right type of person needs to be flexible, adaptable and to be able to read situations and help our young people make positive choices.
New staff must be comfortable using an electronic care recording system on a daily basis to document, monitor, and update children and young people's records accurately. Experience with Clearcare is an advantage, but not essential, as full training will be provided. However, all staff are expected to confidently use digital systems as part of their day-to-day role.
