Train and educate healthcare professionals in the safe and effective use of our spinal implant portfolio.
Develop strong, lasting relationships with surgeons, theatre teams and other key hospital stakeholders.
Deliver product demonstrations and provide technical advice on the implementation and use of our technologies.
Work closely with the commercial team, recognising opportunities and providing excellent customer support to help protect and develop accounts.

PERSON SPECIFICATION: Clinical Specialist, Surgical Sales Specialist - Spinal, Orthopaedic, Medical Devices

Ideally, you'll already have experience within spinal procedures, although we'll also consider strong Clinical Specialists from orthopaedics, trauma, neurology or associated surgical medical devices.

You'll be confident supporting healthcare professionals in a theatre environment and comfortable building relationships with surgeons and clinical teams.
You'll be organised, resilient and able to remain calm when dealing with the pressures and last-minute changes that come with surgical case support.
Importantly, you'll have a strong customer and commercial mindset, taking ownership rather than seeing your position as purely clinical.
You'll be a genuine team player who enjoys working within a smaller organisation where people muck in and support one another.

THE COMPANY:

We're an international, privately owned specialist medical device company operating in over 60 countries focused entirely on innovative spinal technologies. Our UK operation offers something a little different from the larger corporate medical device businesses. We're a close-knit, hands-on team where people have autonomy, senior management remain close to customers and everyone's contribution is visible.

PROSPECTS:

We'll invest in your training and development, including extensive product training and practical exposure to spinal procedures. For someone who enjoys clinical work but would eventually like exposure to sales and account development, there is plenty of scope to develop both in the UK and Europe.

It is highly likely you will have worked in any of the following roles and/or markets, and worked with the following products and/or services: Clinical Specialist, Surgical Sales Specialist, Trauma Sales Specialist, Orthopaedic Sales Specialist, Spine Clinical Specialist, Theatre Practitioner - Spinal, Orthopaedics, Trauma, Neurosurgery, Medical Devices, Surgical Devices, Minimally Invasive Surgery, Surgical Instrumentation.
