Registered Manager Children s Home
Location: Hartlepool
Salary: £55,000 - £57,000 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday Friday, 9am 5pm
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
We are looking for an experienced Registered Manager, or a strong Deputy Manager ready to step up, to lead a brand-new children s residential home in Hartlepool.
The home will support children and young people aged with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). This is an excellent opportunity to shape a new service from the outset, build your own team and create a positive, child-centred environment.
The Role
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management and development of the home, including:
- Supporting the Ofsted registration and inspection process
- Recruiting, managing and developing the staff team
- Ensuring high standards of safeguarding and care
- Maintaining compliance with Ofsted regulations and Quality Standards
- Managing budgets and operational resources
- Building relationships with local authorities, families and professionals
- Promoting positive outcomes for children and young people
About You
We are looking for someone with:
- Minimum 2 years residential childcare experience
- Experience at senior or management level
- Level 5 Management qualification or willingness to work towards it
- Good knowledge of Children s Homes Regulations, Quality Standards and SCCIF
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
- A genuine commitment to improving outcomes for young people
