Location: Norwich, with Norfolk-wide travel
Hours: 37 per week (subject to Four Day Week scheme following 6 months in post)
Salary: £30,000 pa
Leave: 25 days p.a. + bank holidays

Reports to: Funding and Development Manager

About the Role

As Quality and Impact Manager, you will strengthen project management, quality, data and impact systems across Future Projects, helping teams deliver effective, sustainable services that respond to local need.

Working with Department Heads and service and project leads, you will support services and time-limited projects through planning, mobilisation, delivery, review, transition and closure. You will provide practical support and constructive challenge, while overseeing progress, risk, compliance, impact and effective use of resources.

You will lead CRM, monitoring, evaluation and reporting arrangements and act as the organisation's Data Protection Lead, using evidence and insight to drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support service and project planning, mobilisation, sustainability, transition and closure.
  • Develop and maintain proportionate quality assurance, project management and improvement systems.
  • Monitor KPIs, outputs, outcomes, milestones and deliverables, identifying risks and performance issues early.
  • Provide planning support, problem-solving, coaching and constructive challenge to improve performance.
  • Coordinate funding and contract monitoring and reporting, including deadlines, evidence and submissions.
  • Work with Finance and accountable leads to monitor budgets, forecasts and funding conditions.
  • Lead CRM, data collection, monitoring, evaluation and impact arrangements, improving data quality and consistency.
  • Analyse data, feedback and evidence to identify trends, demonstrate impact and inform service improvement.
  • Act as Data Protection Lead, overseeing policies, records, training, audits and data-protection issues.
  • Support funding bids, service development and organisational planning through evidence, evaluation and sector insight.
  • Build organisational capability through guidance, coaching, tools and shared learning, and represent Future Projects with funders, commissioners, partners and other stakeholders.

About You

  • Strong experience in quality, improvement and project management.
  • Experience supporting services, projects or programmes through planning, mobilisation, risk management, review and closure.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities, deadlines and reporting requirements.
  • Experience in quality assurance, performance management and continuous improvement.
  • Confident analysing quantitative and qualitative data to understand performance, outcomes, impact and risk.
  • Experience using CRM, case-management or reporting systems, with a focus on data quality.
  • Understanding of funded or contracted services, including monitoring, reporting and budget management.
  • Strong communication skills and experience working with colleagues, funders and senior leaders.
  • Able to produce clear reports and provide effective coaching and constructive challenge.
  • Good working knowledge of UK data-protection requirements and confidence acting as Data Protection Lead.
  • Proactive, solution-focused and resilient, with sound judgement and commitment to Future Projects' mission.

  • No routine line-management responsibilities.
  • Office and service-site working, with occasional travel across Norfolk.
