Overview
I am currently recruiting for an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join a specialist school in Croydon supporting children and young people aged 4-18 with autism and learning difficulties.
The school supports pupils with a range of social communication, cognitive, sensory and social, emotional and behavioural needs. You'll be joining a well-established therapy team with 2 Senior Occupational Therapists and another Occupational Therapy Assistant already in place.
This is a great opportunity for someone with previous Therapy Assistant experience who is comfortable working within a specialist education environment and supporting therapists to deliver programmes across the school.

Requirements and Qualifications

BSc or MSc qualification in Occupational Therapy.
Significant post-qualification NHS experience as a Senior / Band 7 Occupational Therapist in general medicine, acute care, or frailty rehabilitation.
