Healthcare Assistant Job in Sudbury, Suffolk (CO10)

Earn 14.25 - 16.35 per hour with flexible shifts and same day pay.

About the role

Newcross Healthcare is recruiting experienced Healthcare Assistants in Sudbury to work in a residential care and nursing home for the elderly.

If you have at least six months of paid UK care experience and want reliable work with a trusted provider, we want to hear from you.

Night shifts 21:00-7:30, weekdays and weekends available
This role is more suitable for a driver due to its rural location. There is onsite parking available.

Your responsibilities

  • Deliver person centred care that promotes dignity and independence.
  • Support people with daily routines, personal care and mobility aid
  • Provide emotional support and build positive relationships.
  • Encourage confidence and safer, more independent living.
What you need
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • At least 6 months of paid UK care experience within the last three years, in a professional setting
  • Enhanced background check (e.g. DBS, PVG or AccessNI), or willingness to apply.
  • Ability to handle personal care
  • Experience of using moving and handling equipment
  • Great communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A caring approach built on integrity, respect and empathy.
