Senior Social Worker - Family Help Hub - Hampshire (Hart)

Eden Brown Synergy is currently working in partnership with Hampshire County Council to recruit an experienced Senior Social Worker to join the Family Help Hub within the Hart & Rushmoor area.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Children's Social Worker to take on a senior role within a progressive Family Help service, working with children and families to improve outcomes and promote safe, sustainable family relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a varied and complex caseload of children and families.
Undertake Child and Family Assessments and provide analytical assessment of risk and need.
Develop, implement and review plans with children, families and partner agencies.
Undertake statutory visits and direct work with children and young people.
Manage safeguarding concerns and ensure appropriate action is taken to protect children.
Undertake CIN and Child Protection work where required.
Work collaboratively with education, health, police and other partner agencies.
Ensure the child's voice and lived experience remain central to all decision-making.
Prepare high-quality reports for meetings, reviews and court proceedings where required.
Provide professional support, guidance and advice to colleagues.
Contribute to a positive learning culture and promote high standards of social work practice.
Manage complex situations confidently and make sound professional judgements.

Requirements:

Social Work England registration.
Recognised Social Work qualification.
Significant post-qualification experience within Children's Social Care.
Strong experience of Child and Family Assessments, safeguarding, CIN and Child Protection.
Experience managing complex cases and making autonomous professional decisions.
Good understanding of relevant Children's Social Care legislation and statutory frameworks.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively within a multi-agency environment.
Previous Family Help, Child Protection or similar statutory children's social work experience would be highly desirable.
Experience supporting or mentoring less experienced Social Workers would be advantageous.
