What you will do
About youYou will be kind, dependable and able to adapt to different situations and shifts. You'll enjoy helping others and understand the importance of treating every resident with dignity, respect and compassion. Previous experience in care is welcome but not essential. We're equally interested in people with the right values, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. You will hold, or be willing to work towards, an SVQ Level 3 in Social Services and Healthcare. This role requires membership of the PVG Scheme and registration with the SSSC.

About the Role
This is a home care/domiciliary care role, supporting service users in their own homes. You will travel door-to-door between service users, providing care and support throughout your shifts.
The role will include working on 2:1 care packages, so you will work alongside another Care Assistant to provide the required level of support.
We have care opportunities available across the local area, with additional shifts available further afield if you are happy to travel. Mileage can be claimed at 25p per mile, including travel from home, throughout your run and back home again.
Shifts will depend on the requirements of each client's rota.
