We Do Social Work Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Senior SEND Assessment & Review Officer to join a SEND Assessment and Review Team.
This is a senior casework and oversight role for an experienced SEND professional who can confidently manage complex cases, provide guidance to colleagues and ensure statutory processes are progressed effectively and within required legal timescales.
The RoleAs a Senior SEND Assessment & Review Officer, you will provide senior oversight across statutory SEND processes, including EHC needs assessments, annual reviews, reassessments and phase transfers.
You will be responsible for monitoring case progression, identifying risks and delays, supporting colleagues with complex casework and undertaking quality assurance to ensure work is compliant, consistent and of a high standard.
You will also hold a small caseload of complex, sensitive or high-profile cases, including matters involving complaints, mediation and tribunal activity.
