Priory Hospital Enfield have an opportunity for a Senior Occupational Therapist to join the team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist who is looking to progress into a Senior Occupational Therapist role. Join a compassionate and supportive multidisciplinary team committed to helping people improve their wellbeing and build healthier, more fulfilling futures. We take a personalised approach to care, using evidence-based therapies to support patients on their recovery journey.
What you'll be doing
As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality occupational therapy services, working closely with the Lead Occupational Therapist and wider clinical team to provide person-centred care.

  • Complete comprehensive occupational therapy assessments, identifying patient needs and developing tailored treatment plans.
  • Deliver both individual and group interventions, supporting patients throughout their rehabilitation and recovery.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical records, monitoring progress and adapting interventions where appropriate.
  • Take ownership of a defined clinical area, contributing to service development, quality improvement and best practice.
  • Provide supervision and support to junior colleagues and students, developing your leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team to achieve positive outcomes for patients.
You can find additional information in the attached job description.

  • A Diploma, Degree, Honours Degree or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Membership of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT).
  • At least three years' post-qualification experience within mental health services.
  • Experience completing occupational therapy assessments and delivering evidence-based interventions.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • The ability to think critically, reflect on clinical practice and make sound professional judgements.
  • A proactive approach to learning, service improvement and personal development.
You'll become part of a supportive and compassionate team where your development is genuinely encouraged. We recognise the value of investing in our people and will support you as you grow into the role, developing your clinical expertise, leadership skills and confidence.

Our work is rewarding but can be challenging, so resilience, empathy and a commitment to delivering outstanding patient care are essential. No two days are ever the same, making this a varied and fulfilling opportunity to make a real difference.
