Job Responsibilities for Head of Care

1. Strategic Leadership & Service Development

Develop and implement a care strategy aligned with organisational and educational priorities.

Lead the integration of care and education to ensure cohesive learner pathways, reflecting the model of close liaison between education and residential services.

Promote innovation in care delivery, including person-centred approaches and assistive technologies.

Atrium Healthcare is seeking a cook with previous experience within a care home setting to support our client based in Goole. The ideal candidate will have a drive and passion cooking nutritious and delicious meals for our clients' residents as well as leading a small kitchen team. The job role will entail the following tasks:

Kitchen cleaning responsibilities to maintain hygiene standards

The ideal candidate will have the following:

Proven experience as a Cook in a similar setting (preferably in a care home, hospital, or senior living facility).
Knowledge of nutrition and special dietary requirements for the elderly.
Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
Ability to work collaboratively with a team and communicate effectively.
Compassionate, patient, and attentive to the needs of the residents.
Flexibility to work on weekends and holidays, as needed.
Relevant culinary qualifications are a plus but not mandatory.
