We are currently seeking an experienced Social Worker to join a busy Children Protection Team based in the West of Cornwall in Penzance. Long term contacts are offered with good rates of pay up to 34ph. Hybrid working

The successful candidate should be able to
hold child protection cases
have good written and verbal communication skills to work with a range of professionals and vulnerable families
chair multi-agency core group meetings
complete and present reports within the Child Protection arena using the Signs of Safety approach.
write court reports and present evidence to the court
You should have experience of Child Protection and Court work and Child in Care work.
Knowledge / use of Signs of Safety and MOSAIC system would be an advantage.
You will be SWE registered, ideally a driver with access to own car and able to reside and work in the UK
