About the Role

Eden Brown Synergy is currently recruiting for an experienced LAC Social Worker to join Luton Council's Children's Services.

This is an excellent opportunity for a committed and experienced Social Worker to work within a supportive team, managing a caseload of Looked After Children and helping to achieve positive outcomes for children and young people.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

1. Social Work England registration.
2. Relevant Social Work qualification.
3. Previous experience working with Looked After Children / Children in Care within a local authority setting.
4. Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, safeguarding procedures and statutory social work practice.
5. Ability to manage a complex caseload and work effectively within deadlines.
6. Excellent communication, assessment and report-writing skills.
7. Commitment to achieving positive outcomes for children and young people.

Ensure that all case management complies with the statutory requirements and the Council's policies and procedures. You will need to prepare and submit written reports as and when required, including statements and care plans for care proceedings in the Family Proceedings, County and High Courts.
