The Role
As Deputy Manager, you will:
Support the Registered Manager with the day-to-day management of the home.

Lead shifts, oversee care delivery and provide guidance to Residential Support Workers and Senior Residential Support Workers.

Build positive relationships with children, families, social workers and other professionals.
Support recruitment, induction and ongoing development of team members.

Significant experience working within children's residential care.
Previous experience in a Senior Residential Support Worker or leadership role.
A strong understanding of safeguarding, children's legislation and Ofsted requirements.
Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
A positive, resilient and child-focused approach.
The ability to inspire, support and develop others.
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and sleep-in nights as required.
Essential
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare, or willingness to work towards achieving it.
Full UK driving licence.
