The Role
As a Registered Mental Health Nurse, you will provide safe, compassionate and recovery-focused care to patients experiencing a range of mental health conditions.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality mental health nursing care in line with NMC standards.
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individual patient care.
Support patients with acute and enduring mental health needs.
Administer medication safely and maintain accurate clinical records.
Undertake risk assessments and contribute to person-centred care planning.
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive outcomes.
Build therapeutic relationships with patients, families and carers.
Promote dignity, safeguarding and patient-centred care.
Manage challenging situations professionally using approved intervention techniques.
Maintain high standards of clinical care and patient safety.
Essential Requirements
Current NMC Registration as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN).
Minimum 6 months' UK Mental Health Nursing experience.
PMVA Certification Mandatory.
Valid Enhanced DBS.
Professional references covering the last 3 years.
Strong clinical judgement and excellent communication skills.
Flexible, reliable and compassionate approach to patient care.
Right to work in the UK.
