This role DOES NOT require registration with Ofsted, making it an excellent fit for experienced managers looking to potentially take a step from being registered!
As the Peripatetic Manager your Key duties and responsibilities will include:
- Provide leadership and support in the absence of Registered Managers.
- Supporting the Registered Manager's in instances of probation, performance improvement plans for managers, sub standard inspection's or Reg44 visits,
- Ensure high standards of care and compliance across multiple residential homes.
- They will need to be decisive and solutions-focused, you cannot be afraid to step on the occasional toe if it means offering better support to our young people.
- Report directly to senior management on operational and strategic matters.
The ideal person for this Peripatetic manager :
- Proven experience in managing residential children's homes.
- Strong background in quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
- Experience doing supervisions for managers is desirable, but by no means essential
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexibly and travel between different locations.
- Desirable: Experience in a learning disabilities (LD) specialist organisation.
