Therapeutic Support Worker (Children's Residential Care)

Pay: 13-14.00 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week
Contract: Temporary to Permanent (9 weeks)

Are you passionate about supporting children and young people to reach their full potential? We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Therapeutic Support Workers to join our team in Basingstoke on a temp-to-perm basis.

We take a therapeutic, child-centred approach, placing the needs of every child at the heart of everything we do. Our team supports children and young people aged 8 to 18, providing a safe, nurturing, and positive environment where they can heal, grow, and thrive.

What You'll Be Doing

Providing high-quality care and emotional support to children and young people.
Building positive, trusting relationships through a therapeutic approach.
Supporting young people with daily routines, education, and recreational activities.
Encouraging independence, resilience, and personal development.
Working closely with colleagues and external professionals to deliver the best outcomes for each child.
Maintaining accurate records and following safeguarding procedures at all times.

What We're Looking For

Experience working with children and young people is essential.
A caring, patient, and resilient approach.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to work day or night shifts.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
