We Do Social Work Recruitment is working on behalf of a Local Authority to recruit an experienced SEND Officer (0 25) to join a dedicated Children s Services team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate professional with experience in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to make a real difference to the lives of children and young people aged 0 25, ensuring they receive the support they need to achieve positive educational outcomes and prepare for adulthood.
About the RoleAs a SEND Officer, you will play a key role in coordinating Education, Health and Care (EHC) processes, working collaboratively with families, schools, health professionals and partner agencies to identify needs, develop high-quality plans and secure the right support for children and young people with SEND.
You'll manage a varied caseload, lead person-centred assessments and contribute to integrated working across education, health and social care.
