I am recruiting for an experienced and quality-focused Deputy Manager for a fantastic residential care home for older people based in the Corsham area of Wiltshire.

The home is a beautiful, medium-sized care home supporting residents, including many living with Dementia.

We are looking for a qualified Deputy Manager who has previous experience in a similar role, or a strong and experienced Team Leader who is looking to take the next step in their career.

The Deputy Manager must have:

• Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification or working towards it
• Previous experience as a Deputy Manager or Team Leader within an older people's or dementia care setting
• Strong staff management and leadership skills
• Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations, health and social care legislation and regulatory requirements
• A genuine passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care

We are seeking a strong Residential Care Home Deputy Manager / Head of Care who is seeking a new exciting challenge within healthcare. The home caters for up to 25 elderly residents and they are a part of an independent care company which focuses on providing a high standard of person-centred care. This is a full-time, permanent Deputy Care Manager position paying a very competitive starting salary of 16.62 per hour! This will be working 37 hours per week over 4 days, and will build upon existing team leading skills.

Previous Deputy Care Manager or Team Leader experience is preferred. The successful candidate will need to be able to carry to supervisions of staff members, book in medication, carry out audits and work in partnership with the Registered Manager. You will be predominantly floor based and will play a crucial link between the Senior Carers on the floor and the Home Manager. Experienced Care Team Leaders or Senior Carers with at least NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care are encouraged to apply.

We are looking for an experienced and confident Deputy Manager to support the day-to-day running of our domiciliary care service.

This is not a training or development role. We are seeking someone who can hit the ground running, take ownership of the operational management of the service, lead the team with confidence and maintain high standards of care and compliance. While the Registered Manager provides strategic oversight and support, the Deputy Manager will play a key role in the daily management of the service and be confident making operational decisions.

• A proven track record of managing or supporting the day-to-day running of a domiciliary care service.
• Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding, the Care Act and best practice in domiciliary care.
• Strong leadership, organisational and decision-making skills.
• Experience leading and supporting care teams to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
• Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care as a minimum (Level 5 desirable or willingness to work towards).
