Northamptonshire Children's Trust is looking for an experienced Social Worker to join its Children with Disabilities Team based in Kettering.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a specialist service supporting some of the most vulnerable children and young people. You will manage a varied caseload involving Child in Need, Child Protection, and Children in Care, ensuring children receive the appropriate support, protection, and services to meet their individual needs.

The Role
As part of the Children with Disabilities Team, you'll work with children and young people with complex needs, ensuring they receive the right support to achieve the best possible outcomes. You'll manage a varied caseload, undertaking statutory responsibilities while working closely with families and partner agencies.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of children with disabilities, including Child in Need, Child Protection, and Looked After Children where applicable.
Complete statutory assessments, care planning, reviews, and risk assessments.
Develop and implement outcome-focused care plans.
Work collaboratively with health, education, and multi-agency professionals.
Ensure all case recordings and reports are completed to a high standard and within statutory timescales.
Build positive relationships with children, young people, and their families to promote positive outcomes.
Requirements
Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration.
Previous experience within a Children with Disabilities Team or frontline childrens services.
Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Children Act 1989 and SEND framework.
Ability to manage a busy caseload and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent assessment, communication, and report-writing skills.
