About the Role

Cambridgeshire County Council is seeking an experienced Children's Services Team Manager to support its Assessment Service, with additional responsibility for providing management cover across Family Support and Safeguarding teams as required. Requirements

• Recognised Social Work qualification
• Current Social Work England registration.
• Significant management experience within Children's Social Care.

• Excellent leadership, communication and partnership-working skills.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to travel across the county.

Skills, Experience & Knowledge Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years residential childcare experience, with previous supervisory or management experience within a care environment.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding, Children's Homes Regulations, Ofsted requirements and best practice within residential childcare.
• Experience leading, supporting and developing teams with excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A passionate and driven individual who is committed to improving outcomes for children in care and creating a positive, supportive home environment.
